This Giving Tuesday, join WACH Fox 57, area Food Lion stores, Market on Main and Harvest Hope for the 26th Annual Share Your Holiday Food Drive!
This annual event brings together the Midlands community to raise vital food and funds to help our neighbors experiencing food insecurity. This year we're pairing a food drive across the Midlands with an additional Happy Hour, with proceeds from the sale of a special drink benefiting Harvest Hope.
You can drop off non-perishable food at several locations across the area from 10 am - 2 pm:
Food Lion #2604 - 740 University Village Dr Blythewood, SC 29016
Food Lion #2821 - 4464 Devine St Columbia, SC 29205
Food Lion #2241 - 9003 Two Notch Rd Columbia, SC 29223
Food Lion #390 - 2250 Sunset Blvd Columbia, SC 29169
Our Happy Hour event will be from 3 - 6 p.m. at Market on Main, 1320 Main St #150, Columbia, SC 29201. Stop by, donate food or funds, and have a holiday drink!
If you're not able to drop by, you can also make a monetary donation. Every dollar goes a long way to supporting our most vulnerable neighbors this holiday season. Help fill a child or senior's table with a meal and give HOPE a seat at the table!

In Support of Harvest Hope Food Bank
Harvest Hope is South Carolina’s largest food bank, providing over 25 million meals on average to neighbors in need across the Midlands, Pee Dee and Upstate. Harvest Hope is on a mission to eliminate hunger and food insecurity in South Carolina. We rescue nutritious food from stores throughout the state and distribute it to food pantries, shelters, and soup kitchens.
We operate programs that provide food for our most vulnerable citizens – children, seniors, and rural residents who don’t have access to grocery stores. We also run our own emergency food pantries in Greenville and Columbia where anyone in need can get a week’s supply of groceries for free.
Harvest Hope began in 1981 as the result of a shared vision of business leaders and the faith community, who set out to provide for the hungry in Columbia. Since then, Harvest Hope has increased its mission to feed the hungry across 20 counties in South Carolina.
