Carolina Wildlife Center x Harvest Hope
At Carolina Wildlife Center, we believe every creatureāwild or humanādeserves care, compassion, and the chance to thrive. Since 1989, weāve been devoted to healing South Carolinaās injured and orphaned wildlife, and now, weāre extending that same spirit of care to our human neighbors through āNourishing Nature, Feeding Hope,ā a virtual food drive benefiting Harvest Hope Food Bank.
Just as we nurture wildlife back to health, we can help restore hope for families facing hunger across our community. Every donation fuels Harvest Hopeās mission to ensure no oneāof any speciesāgoes hungry in our shared ecosystem. Together, we can protect life in all its formsāfeeding families, preserving nature, and creating a stronger, more compassionate South Carolina.
In Support of Harvest Hope Food Bank
Harvest Hope is South Carolinaās largest food bank, providing over 25 million meals on average to neighbors in need across the Midlands, Pee Dee and Upstate. Harvest Hope is on a mission to eliminate hunger and food insecurity in South Carolina. We rescue nutritious food from stores throughout the state and distribute it to food pantries, shelters, and soup kitchens.Ā

We operate programs that provide food for our most vulnerable citizens ā children, seniors, and rural residents who donāt have access to grocery stores. We also run our own emergency food pantries in Greenville and Columbia where anyone in need can get a weekās supply of groceries for free.Ā
Harvest Hope began in 1981 as the result of a shared vision of business leaders and the faith community, who set out to provide for the hungry in Columbia. Since then, Harvest Hope has increased its mission to feed the hungry across 20 counties in South Carolina.
