At the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), caring for others goes beyond the walls of our hospitals and clinics. Through the MUSC Cares Virtual Food Drive, we are partnering with Harvest Hope Food Bank to extend our commitment to health, compassion, and community well-being by helping fight hunger across South Carolina!
We know that good health begins with access to nutritious food. Together, MUSC employees, students, faculty, and supporters can make a meaningful difference for individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.
Every donation helps Harvest Hope provide food and hope to our neighbors while supporting a healthier, stronger community. Whether you give a little or a lot, every contribution matters!
💚 Together, we can turn compassion into action, nourish our neighbors, and build a healthier South Carolina—one meal at a time!
Give Hope. Share Compassion. Nourish Our Community!
Did You Know? Every $3.58 donated helps provide the equivalent of one meal through Harvest Hope Food Bank. Your generosity can make a real difference in the lives of our neighbors!
In Support of Harvest Hope Food Bank
Harvest Hope is South Carolina’s largest food bank, providing over 25 million meals on average to neighbors in need across the Midlands, Pee Dee and Upstate. Harvest Hope is on a mission to eliminate hunger and food insecurity in South Carolina. We rescue nutritious food from stores throughout the state and distribute it to food pantries, shelters, and soup kitchens.Â
We operate programs that provide food for our most vulnerable citizens – children, seniors, and rural residents who don’t have access to grocery stores. We also run our own emergency food pantries in Greenville and Columbia where anyone in need can get a week’s supply of groceries for free.Â
Harvest Hope began in 1981 as the result of a shared vision of business leaders and the faith community, who set out to provide for the hungry in Columbia. Since then, Harvest Hope has increased its mission to feed the hungry across 20 counties in South Carolina.
